About Us

aving Grace Farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers equine assisted activities for people ages 4 and up, with special needs, disabilities, youth at-risk, seniors, veterans, and those who have experienced trauma. We serve individuals from Rowan, Cabarrus, Stanley, Iredell, and Davidson Counties.
We are a PATH International Accredited Facility that observes the highest standards of safety and excellence in the industry.
We were founded in 2000 across town near Rowan Memorial Hospital by the Hoben Family.  We operated at that location for 15 years until the property was sold and we needed to relocate. We now operate on private property on the south side of Rowan County between China Grove, Faith and Rockwell.

Mission:
Our mission at Saving Grace Farm is to enrich the quality of life and promote the abilities of individuals and families through equine assisted services.
Vision:
To enhance our participants abilities, skills, and self-esteem, empowering them towards personal growth.
Values:

Compassion We meet every participant, family, volunteer, and horse with empathy, patience, and respect.

Safety We uphold the highest standards of physical and emotional safety for all who interact with our programs.

Inclusivity We welcome individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences, ensuring equitable access to services.

Integrity We operate with transparency, honesty, and accountability in all aspects of our work.

Partnership We collaborate with families, professionals, and community partners to support holistic growth and well‑being.

Growth We believe in the potential of every person and every horse, fostering learning, confidence, and personal development.

Stewardship We honor our responsibility to care for our horses, our land, our resources, and the trust placed in us by the community.

We feel that through serving our community in this capacity, we can help change lives for the better.

"Our best example is that of the greatest Servant, Jesus Christ.  We have been asked if we are a ‘Christian Organization’ and the technical answer is no, we are not registered with the US Government as a Religious Organization, nor do we hand out tracts or promote our views on others.   But, the heart behind Saving Grace is a heart given by God.  We love Jesus, try to serve every day as He did, and we strive to pray and seek God's will in all we do." ~Janna G.

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
