🧠 Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
Healing Through Connection—With Horses and Nature
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a powerful, experiential form of therapy that brings together a licensed mental health professional, a credentialed equine specialist, and the wisdom of horses to support individuals on their mental health journey.

🌿 What Is EAP?
EAP is an interactive, ground-based therapeutic process that helps individuals explore and address:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • Eating disorders
  • Other mental health challenges
Sessions take place on our peaceful farm, surrounded by nature and guided by the intuitive presence of our horse partners. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EAP offers real-time feedback through the horse’s natural responses, helping clients gain insight, build awareness, and move toward healing.

🐴 Why Horses?
Horses are highly sensitive prey animals with an extraordinary ability to mirror human emotion and energy. Their reactions provide immediate, honest feedback that can:
  • Reveal emotional patterns
  • Highlight internal struggles
  • Encourage self-regulation and mindfulness
  • Foster trust, empathy, and connection
Their non-judgmental nature creates a safe space for growth, empowerment, and transformation.
